Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. You will also supervise, teach, and delegate to other personnel in the performance of activities related to nursing care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Supervise, teach, and delegate to other personnel in the performance of activities related to nursing care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment and make adjustments as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky or a current Registered Nurse licensure with a multistate compact status.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date.
  • American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date.
  • Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date.
