POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for skilled professionals to develop, document, and maintain software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs. The role involves creating and sustaining code while integrating software components into a cohesive system.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop software verification plans, test procedures, and environments, executing tests and documenting results to ensure compliance with software system requirements.
- Manage software projects and supplier relationships effectively.
- Tailor and implement software processes, tools, and metrics to enhance productivity.
- Conduct research and development projects, documenting findings and progress.
- Act as a subject matter expert in software domains, addressing system-specific issues, processes, and regulations.
- Monitor and assess software team and supplier performance to ensure adherence to project plans and industry standards.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates should possess previous professional experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Next, and Node. A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and CSS styling frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind) is essential. Familiarity with testing front-end applications and coordinating API calls with backend teams for efficient rendering is required.
- Experience with RESTful systems; knowledge of GraphQL is a plus.
- Ability to create React fragments, single-page applications (SPAs), and dynamic web pages while developing reusable components.
- Proficiency in JavaScript build tools and authentication strategies.
- Understanding of server-side and client-side rendering, including the cost-benefit analysis of different approaches.
- Capability to generate UML documentation for traceability from design to implementation.
- Effective communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
- Experience in developing front-end architectures.
EDUCATION:
A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry is required, along with typically 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., PhD, Master’s degree with 3 years of related work experience). ABET accreditation is preferred in the USA.
WORK SCHEDULE:
First Shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
