Clinical Nursing Support Role
This position is part of the Department of State (DOS) Recruitment and Referral Incentive Program, which aims to increase the number of applicants for clinical nursing positions.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, providing nursing care and support to clients/patients/residents with acute or chronic disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and support to clients/patients/residents
- Participate in interdisciplinary care teams to discuss individual care plans
- Monitor and record vital signs, nutritional intake/output, and other relevant information
- Escorts individuals to social/recreational activities and medical appointments
- Apply interventions to prevent or de-escalate inappropriate behaviors
Requirements:
- Delaware certification as a Nursing Assistant or eligibility for certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
