Key Responsibilities- Provide prescribed medical treatment under the general supervision of a registered nurse.
- Maintain effective communication with all individuals, including residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Lead, guide, and develop certified nursing assistants and resident assistants in provision of quality care.
- Supervise the duties of certified nursing assistants and resident assistants.
- Perform medical treatments and report status to the registered nurse.
- Report resident changes in condition promptly to the registered nurse.
- Perform all necessary related functions, such as blood pressure checks and pulses in conjunction with the medication pass as needed.
- Participate in following and updating plans of care.
- Promote resident-centered care.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse credentials and license in the State of Minnesota.
- Current CPR Certification.
Auburn Homes & Services is a not-for-profit senior services organization committed to providing comfortable housing, caring services, and activities in the spirit of Christ's love. We offer a competitive compensation package, including a starting salary of $29.69 and premium shift differentials. We also offer a sign-on bonus of $1,000 for full-time hires and $500 for part-time hires.
