Position Overview

The Senior Business Analyst serves as a key business authority, bridging the gap between the IT development team and various business units to facilitate the development, enhancement, and implementation of both new and existing systems. This role is essential in delivering data and reporting solutions that meet the informational and performance metrics requirements of multiple business functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert consultation to clients, identifying and addressing their business needs.
  • Analyze comprehensive business processes and information requirements, which may involve multiple Company functional operations and external entities.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the client's current and future business landscape, effectively anticipating and fulfilling all business needs.
  • Propose, assess, and document alternatives that deliver the most effective solutions to address business challenges, including the execution of new business initiatives.
  • Proactively address client concerns and inquiries, ensuring timely, professional, and client-focused communication through meetings, status reports, phone calls, and emails.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on system enhancements and alternative solutions.
  • Support clients in the effective utilization of production systems.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries.
  • Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and client organizations to ensure seamless system operations, minimizing disruptions to business activities and enabling achievement of results.
  • Define and document business requirements comprehensively.
  • Develop business cases to support various business initiatives.
  • Prepare and review test plans, conducting quality assessments on test outcomes.
  • Adhere to SOX documentation and other standard process requirements as necessary.
  • Conduct all activities safely, promoting safe work practices and attending all safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Participate actively in projects of medium to high complexity, demonstrating leadership in such initiatives.
  • Exhibit expert technical knowledge in one or more functional areas of Client business applications, such as CC&B, SAP, etc., and possess project management skills sufficient to coordinate multi-organizational projects.
  • Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA is preferred.
  • Completion of coursework and/or training in programming languages relevant to Client applications, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in similar or related roles.
