About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support our physicians in providing high-quality care to patients. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a clinical setting, preferably as a Medical Assistant or in a related role. They should be certified in phlebotomy, injections, and basic life support, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and protocols.
We offer a competitive salary of $43,000 per year, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs, reviewing medical histories, and conducting preliminary assessments.
- Assist physicians during minor surgeries, physicals, and other procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Administer injections, perform lab tests, and collect blood samples, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff, responding to inquiries and addressing concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
- Degree from an accredited Medical Assisting program or equivalent experience in a clinical setting.
- Current certification in phlebotomy, injections, and basic life support (BLS), with CPR certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
