Key Responsibilities:- Operate PET/CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
- Provide patient-centered care, ensuring excellent customer service and adhering to professional standards.
- Guide patients through the exam process, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Perform routine and advanced PET/CT imaging procedures, adjusting scan parameters as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with maintaining imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades.
- Perform quality control procedures on PET/CT equipment to ensure compliance with ACR and AOA guidelines.
- NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine, current and in good standing.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiography.
- Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state, if required.
- Current CPR certification.
- Training and experience sufficient to competently perform PET/CT procedures independently.
- Certification in imaging specialty.
