Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize your expertise in troubleshooting and repairing steam and hot water systems, including cast iron boilers and various brands such as Copper Finn, RaypaK, and Milwaukee.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on air-cooled chillers, including screw and centrifugal types, with capacities up to 500 tons.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while overseeing installations, diagnosing issues, and providing recommendations for both boiler and chiller systems.
  • Maintain a service schedule and ensure safety checks and repairs are completed.
  • Focus on servicing commercial and industrial clients, executing thorough service and safety protocols.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical system checks in boiler rooms, including combustion analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct refrigerant leak testing, operational inspections, coil cleaning, and other maintenance tasks for chillers.
  • Mentor and train junior technicians in boiler and chiller service and maintenance.
Qualifications:
  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience with commercial boiler and/or chiller systems.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively to troubleshoot and maintain various burner types.
  • Proficient in handling high/low steam and hot water boilers that do not meet 90% efficiency standards.
  • Experience with scroll and screw air-cooled chillers up to 500 tons is essential. Technicians must possess their own hand tools and a valid driver's license.
  • Physical capability to lift and move up to 75 lbs and work at heights.
  • Boiler Operator and refrigeration licenses are preferred.
