About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As an MRI Tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies using a magnetic resonance device, preparing patients, positioning, setting imaging parameters, and displaying images.
  • Select appropriate imaging protocol for patient studies and perform quality assurance scans as required.
  • Work cohesively as a team member within the MRI Department, demonstrating excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Prepare patients for and perform intravenous injection of MR contrast agents, understanding and communicating possible contraindications and monitoring for adverse reactions.
  • Record all information regarding contrast injections and ensure adherence to safety practices by all persons entering the MRI area.
Requirements
  • ARRT (MR) certification
  • Completion of a Medical Imaging Program
  • BLS certification
  • Advanced MR certification required within 18 months of hire date
