Position SummaryThe Logistics Supply Chain Coordinator I embodies the core values and mission of Northwestern Medicine, adhering to the organization's ethical standards and compliance protocols while ensuring alignment with all relevant policies and regulations.
Working Hours: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:- Adhere to established protocols and methodologies concerning inventory management, receiving processes, equipment handling, linen distribution, and mail services.
- Communicate any challenges or unique circumstances to supervisory personnel.
- Employ standard operating procedures within CIMS and Peoplesoft to uphold data integrity.
- Utilize analytical skills to address straightforward issues involving technology, clientele, staff, and other supply chain management team members; seek managerial guidance when necessary.
- Engage in daily tasks to ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
- Support the level one manager with designated projects as needed.
- Facilitate MDI support and participate in daily huddles.
- Ensure the accuracy of local data within Peoplesoft and CIMS.
- Demonstrate the ability to respond promptly under pressure when challenges arise.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Ability to follow directions and instructions effectively.
- Proficient in computer usage; capacity to learn various software applications.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Critical thinking skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Two years of experience in a healthcare or hospital setting.
- Associate's degree in a relevant field.
- Proficient problem-solving skills.
