Tax Strategy Consultant

Tax Strategy and Consultation

Our Tax Strategy Consultants are responsible for devising plans that minimize future tax liabilities for our clients. At Hantz Group, we believe that effective Tax Strategy is a proactive endeavor that necessitates ongoing monitoring of our clients' tax situations throughout the year, enabling us to provide timely tax projections prior to the finalization of their tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate Tax Liabilities
  • Generate Tax Projections
  • Prepare and submit Tax Returns
  • Conduct presentations for clients and potential clients
  • Build and nurture a client portfolio
  • Promote and sell suitable tax strategies
  • Participate in meetings and professional development sessions
  • Adopt a comprehensive approach alongside a team of financial experts to serve clients
  • Adhere to all industry regulations and standards
  • Represent clients before tax authorities
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proficient in managing multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and diverse client needs
  • Exhibits a strong sense of accountability, both professionally and personally
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience in preparing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals
  • Preferred qualifications include Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant designation
  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills, work ethic, and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience with CCH Axcess Software is a plus
