Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our PreOp PACU team. As a Perioperative Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and safe transition of patients from the operating room to the recovery area.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patient's preoperative and postoperative status to identify potential risks and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement evidence-based practices to promote patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote informed decision-making and positive outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- One year of experience in preoperative or PACU nursing.
- Current state licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (if applicable).
- Competitive hourly rate: $50.00 - $55.00.
