Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Harris Mechanical Rebuilds, LLC. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machine tools to produce and repair precision parts.


Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate manual milling machines, manual lathes, and other manufacturing equipment as needed.
  • Machine a variety of materials to drawing or order specifications, holding required tolerances.
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments.
  • Check final products for accuracy and make adjustments to machines as needed.
  • Occasionally work on-site with customers for repairs and installations.
  • Occasionally work outside of scheduled shifts to meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • Strong background in operating manual lathes and milling machines.
  • Strong familiarity with precision tools.
  • Ability to read drawings or job orders and make minor adjustments as needed.
  • Excellent attention to safety and detail.
  • Good work ethic.
  • Valid Driver's License.
