About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Duke's Malibu, a renowned restaurant located in Malibu, California. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
- Develop and implement menus that align with our culinary philosophy and financial objectives
- Manage food and labor costs to maintain profitability
- Hire, train, and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the culinary team to drive sales and volume growth
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a head chef or executive chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Proven track record of managing kitchen operations and leading a team
- Exceptional culinary skills and knowledge of food production and presentation
