About This Role

Hurricane Harbor Splashtown is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Aquatics Department as a Pool Lifesaver. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests while providing an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Attractions Safely: Our ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety and will operate attractions, pools, and slides with a keen eye for detail.
  • Provide Critical Support: In the event of an emergency, you will provide critical support and assistance to our guests.
  • Ensure Guest Satisfaction: You will work closely with our guests to ensure they have an enjoyable experience, including assisting them on and off tubes/rafts and maintaining efficient dispatch procedures.
  • Respond to Emergencies: You will be trained in all E&A Lifeguard rescue techniques, first-aid, and CPR to respond to emergencies effectively.
Requirements:
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 15 years old.
  • Swimming Ability: Must be able to exit pools unassisted.
  • Certification: The Special Facilities Lifeguard certification level requires swimming a distance of 200 yards, retrieving a 10-pound brick at a depth of 10 feet, and treading water without the use of arms and hands for 2 minutes.
