Job Title: Team Lead

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead to join our team. As a Team Lead, you will play a key role in supervising and managing all day-to-day store operations, ensuring 100% compliance with established Company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety and Welfare: Primary responsibility is the safety and welfare of employees and customers.
  • Customer Experience: Create, establish, and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience by maintaining and reinforcing current service level standards, providing service training and leadership to staff members, and managing customer issues with a sense of urgency and to the satisfaction of our customer.
  • POS Terminal Transactions: All POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure, including sales, discounts, refunds, loyalty, open/closing procedures.
  • Inventory Control: Inventory control responsibilities to include adherence to all policies and procedures in regards to shipping and receiving, price management, singles, damaged merchandise, and conducting a physical inventory.
  • Sales Floor Merchandising: Sales floor merchandising and visual presentation responsibilities to include adherence to company standards, including merchandise placement, sales floor maintenance and housekeeping, promotional event directions, materials, and signage.
  • Payroll Control: Payroll control responsibilities to include adherence to all policies and procedures in regards to scheduling, payroll budget compliance, time & attendance.
  • Training and Development: Training and development of direct reports, responsibilities to include adherence to all policies and procedures in regards to utilization of all available training tools and consistent reinforcement of customer service standards.
  • Loss Prevention: Loss prevention responsibilities to include adherence to all policies and procedures in regards to the protection and control of all Company assets.
Working Relationships:

Customers, Sales Associates, Store Management, District/Regional Manager, and Store Operations and Training personnel.

Qualifications:
  • An approved background check.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Managerial and organizational skills.
