Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Gathering Place. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on park facilities, attractions, and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with gasoline, diesel, and electric powered equipment.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on all assigned equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on all repairs and inspections.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and troubleshoot problems.
  • Ensure all work conforms to federal, state, and local safety laws.
  • Provide excellent guest service and interact positively with park guests.
  • Respond to internal requests in a timely manner.
  • Practice safe habits and maintain a professional appearance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
  • Basic computer knowledge and hand/power tool skills.
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be comfortable with exposure to noise and vibrations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in carpentry and painting.
  • Heavy equipment operating skills and knowledge.
  • Cross-training in other maintenance-related fields.
