Key Responsibilities
  • Train and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Work closely with upper management to plan, assign, and direct work to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Support the review of historical data to inform sales, advertising, and promotional strategies.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure satisfactory stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control and food safety standards.
  • Prepare and display specialty cheeses and other related products to meet customer expectations.
  • Assist with catering and delivery orders, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Check inventory on trucks, unload products, and ensure accuracy of inventory and associated paperwork.
  • Promote product sales through suggestive selling initiatives and appealing product displays.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and one or more years of related experience.
  • Food Handler certification and Manager Food Safety certification required.
  • Ability to lead and motivate others, and effectively communicate with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to safely operate hazardous tools and equipment, and work well with fellow team members.
Work Environment
  • Work is generally performed in a retail store environment.
  • Frequently exposed to hot surfaces, extreme cold conditions, and extreme heat conditions.
  • Occasionally exposed to wet, slippery, or damp conditions, and cleaning agents.
