Embark on a transformative internship experience with URUS GROUP LP as a Farm Performance Consultant. This pivotal role will empower you to champion the VAS suite of software products in the US market, fostering top-notch sales training, on-farm sales expertise, and collaborative engagement with full-time staff, including senior leadership.

Located in Idaho, California, Texas, or New York, this internship offers an immersive experience, allowing you to establish goals and timelines tailored to your success. A comprehensive onboarding process includes in-person orientation with a dedicated VAS mentor, providing in-depth knowledge of VAS's Sales, Support, Product, Marketing, and other essential aspects.

You will be immersed within the VAS FPC team and interact closely with customers and prospects to achieve your internship objectives. Key areas of accountability include:

  • Gaining a profound understanding of the VAS suite of software products and effectively communicating their benefits to customers and prospects.
  • Developing strong working relationships with VAS full-time staff and independently engaging with customers.
  • Promoting URUS GROUP LP in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
  • Providing detailed feedback on the summer experience, customer and prospect insights, and industry needs.
  • Managing administrative tasks such as weekly reports, expense reports, and other routine duties.

A unique opportunity for those pursuing a degree in Agriculture, preferably dairy, beef, or ag communications/sales, this internship demands strong work ethic, accountability, aggressive sales and service skills, self-motivation, and excellent communication and people skills. You must be willing to learn and develop both personally and professionally, with computer proficiency being a requirement.
