About the Role

HGA, a leading interdisciplinary design firm, is seeking a talented mechanical engineering graduate to join our Minneapolis office. As a Mechanical Staff member, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the country, collaborating with architects, engineers, planners, and other professionals to create holistic designs for healthcare, education, and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the guidance of the Project Engineer to design and document project solutions and construction documents, focusing on accuracy, clarity, and constructability.
  • Perform mechanical engineering design calculations and research code issues.
  • Analyze reports, drawings, tests, and other data to plan and design work.
  • Interact and communicate effectively with team members, maintaining and organizing project-related documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
  • Ability to obtain PE registration in the near future.
  • Proficiency with Revit software and excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
  • Familiarity with mechanical analysis software and knowledge of current sustainable technologies applicable to mechanical systems design.
