Chess Instructor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Chess Instructor at Seward Montessori School. As a Chess Instructor, you will play a vital role in helping students develop their strategic thinking abilities and improve their game decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strengthen students' game decisions and build their confidence
  • Develop the capability to predict and foresee consequences of actions
  • Teach elementary checkmates and learn how to make smart decisions
  • Introduce the complete rules of chess, from basic piece movement to advanced strategies
  • Tactical tricks to help remove opponents' pieces from the board
  • Endgame ideas and strategies

Location: Seward Montessori School, Minneapolis, MN

Duration: October 2023 to December 2023

Day: Every Wednesday

Time: 5:00 pm- 6:00 pm
