Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Technician Assistant to join our team at the Department of Developmental Services. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their mental health and well-being. With a strong focus on patient-centered care, you will deliver high-quality services that meet the unique needs of each consumer.

Responsibilities: * Provide general behavioral training and psychiatric nursing care to consumers* Conduct on-site direct care and participate in recreational activities with consumers* Maintain credentials in required of a Psychiatric Technician Assistant license and attend required trainings* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans* Utilize evidence-based practices and techniques to promote positive outcomes and behaviors

Requirements: * Valid California Drivers License (CDL)* Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate* Emotional stability, patience, tact, alertness, neat personal appearance, hearing, and vision required for successful job performance* Ability to work in a developmental center, state hospital, or other state-owned or operated facility for residential care
