**Part-Time Position -- 20 hours per week -- $12 per hour**

Mission of The Salvation Army: The Salvation Army is a global organization that operates as an evangelical branch of the universal Christian church. Overview of Responsibilities: The primary role is to ensure the thrift store operates at optimal levels and to fulfill all daily tasks and responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all display areas and clothing racks are adequately stocked and organized to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the management team to assess and accurately price items for sale as necessary.
  • Efficiently process all incoming merchandise in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Daily tasks include replenishing racks, shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise to drive sales.
  • Learn and train on the complete processing system, including cash register operations.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly environment throughout the store, including all display areas.
  • When required, assist in wrapping and bagging purchases for customers.
  • Consistently deliver excellent customer service by being courteous, prompt, and respectful, in alignment with the mission of The Salvation Army.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Duties: Not applicable.

Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. Experience in retail or cash handling is preferred but not mandatory.
