Patient Care Assistant Certified (PRN) - DAY SHIFT - Inpatient Nurse Float Pool

Job Summary:

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Assistant contributes to the patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient care activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  • Assist with vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  • Document patient information and observations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to orientation completion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting.
