We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concrete Construction Project Manager to join our team at B&B Concrete. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and execution of concrete construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: Work closely with operations managers to ensure seamless coordination of concrete schedules and operations.
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain daily communication with project management staff to ensure successful project execution and communication.
- Site Supervision: Be on-site to supervise and oversee all concrete construction processes, ensuring quality work and adherence to project timelines.
- Financial Management: Ensure that budgets are followed regarding manpower production and material expenditures.
- Field Labor Management: Organize and schedule field labor, ensuring they perform as required and meet project expectations.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate with other subcontractors to ensure proper planning and work harmony.
- Quality Control: Ensure quality is preserved in the concrete construction process and that budgets are maintained.
- Progress Tracking: Track and report project progress on a daily and weekly basis.
- Time Tracking: Accurately capture and report time for field manpower.
- Productivity Monitoring: Continuously monitor productivity and percentage completion, identifying potential delays and providing solutions to overcome challenges.
- Experience: 6 or more years of experience in commercial/industrial concrete construction, with a focus on tilt-up construction.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to effectively supervise construction employees and accomplish work within budget and schedule.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with construction groups, management, owners, trades, and subcontractors.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of technology and related resources, with a working knowledge of scheduling concrete work activities and their relation to other trades and scopes of work.
- Language Skills: Spanish speaking skills are a plus, with the ability to communicate effectively with field labor as needed.
- Personal Qualities: Motivated, hardworking, and a team player with a strong safety culture and a commitment to B&B Concrete's Safety First philosophy.
