Responsibilities of the Consolidation Accountant

  • Reviewing and analyzing consolidation templates for each subsidiary.
  • Receiving and analyzing consolidation data upon receipt.
  • Creating journal entries for month-end and quarter-end close.
  • Coordinating with international entities for data clarity and reporting purposes.
  • Performing ad hoc functions to support management, quarterly, and year-end close.

Background Expected of the Consolidation Accountant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Master's degree in Accounting or MBA is a plus.
  • CPA certification is preferred but not required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting for a multinational company.
