The Counseling Center is a leading national organization in the field of substance abuse treatment. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Evening Counselor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct new patient intake and orientation sessions
  • Facilitate group sessions for patients, addressing their concerns and helping to eliminate the possibility of premature discharge
  • Provide case management services to patients
  • Document patient progress in medical records

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field, with a valid New Jersey license (LSW, LCSW, LAC, or LPC)
  • Minimum one year of experience in the substance abuse field, with a focus on group therapy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
