The McGuire Group Health Care Facilities is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a float position. As a CNA, you will provide high-quality care to our residents and patients, working under the direction of a licensed nurse (RN) to ensure their physical and emotional needs are met.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Work collaboratively with our nurse educator and nursing staff to provide exceptional care
- Assist patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed
- Perform tasks that require physical endurance, including lifting a minimum of 20 pounds
- Prepare each resident's room with necessary items, such as blankets, pillows, medical equipment, and bathroom needs
- Minimum 18 years of age; high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Registered by the New York State Nurse Aide Registry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness, and kindness
- Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds
