Overview of Your Role:

As a key member of our production team, you will assist the shear operator in managing rebar bundles efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Feeding the production line with rebar bundles and breaking open these bundles as needed.
  • Loading trucks with organized and accurately packed orders for shipment.
  • Supporting the rebar bender by supplying it with rebar cut from the shear line.
  • Receiving training to operate an overhead crane, which will be used to assist in feeding both the shear and bender machines.
  • Moving completed orders to designated shipping areas to ensure timely dispatch.
  • Maintaining an orderly, organized, and clean workspace throughout your shift.
  • Occasionally operating company vehicles and motorized equipment.
  • Effectively communicating any issues to your supervisor for prompt resolution.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.
