About the Job

The ideal candidate will have experience working as an LVN, with a strong background in nursing and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with healthcare teams, and maintaining accurate records of patient progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care for patients with diverse medical needs, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Work closely with physicians, RNs, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Take patient vital signs, conduct assessments, document progress, and report changes to the RN supervisor
  • Assist RNs in carrying out physician orders, administering medications, operating medical equipment, and maintaining a safe environment

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program and active LVN license in California
  • One year of nursing experience preferred
  • Able to pass a pre-employment physical, TB test, background check, and drug screen
  • Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communication skills, and compassion
