Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Psychologist to perform comprehensive assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. As an Independent Contractor, you will review behavioral health records electronically and conduct in-person assessments to help our nation's heroes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough in-person assessments for Veterans, reviewing their behavioral health records through a secure Web Portal
  • Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) via the Web Portal
  • Assess approximately 4 Veterans per day, providing detailed findings to support the VA's disability determinations

Requirements

  • A Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA Accredited program/school
  • An active and unrestricted Psychology license
  • Meets credentialing requirements set forth by the VA

About the Role

This is an IN-PERSON position, requiring you to work with Veterans in a clinical setting. You will NOT treat or prescribe medication in this role, solely focusing on assessment and reporting your findings. We offer a Part-Time schedule, typically 2-3 days per week.
