Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance/Housekeeping II professional to join our team at SeaMar Community Health Centers. This full-time position is available immediately in our Bellingham Medical Clinic.

The successful candidate will perform janitorial and maintenance tasks following general health and safety guidelines. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the exterior and interior work area, including upkeep of the parking lot, lawn mowing, trimming bushes and hedges, and grounds maintenance around the garden area.
• Performing simple repairs requiring knowledge of plastering, plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical work, and yard maintenance.
• Utilizing rental equipment for special jobs as needed.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED. While formal experience is not required, relevant experience may be substituted for education. A valid driver's license, auto liability insurance, and reliable automobile are also necessary. Bilingual skills in English/Spanish are preferred, and occasional travel to our Everson clinic may be required.
