Physical Therapist Float Position

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Physical Therapist to fill a float position in Southborough, Massachusetts.
Job Description:As a Physical Therapist, you will provide physical therapy services to patients who have impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. You will practice in collaboration with other members of an interdisciplinary team, educate patients, families, and others, direct and supervise support personnel, and manage technical, environmental, and financial resources effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and evaluate physical therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect understanding of patients' age and situation, including discharge plans.
- Revised treatment plans based on patient progress towards stated goals.
- Complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with facility and practice guidelines.
- Orient, train, and mentor therapy and health care students to achieve stated performance expectations.
- Identify and act upon performance improvement opportunities to implement best practices.
- Complete additional department, organization, or network activities as established objectives.
- Uphold the PCC Organizational Values of Innovation, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- 3 years of experience as a licensed PT.
- Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- A valid Driver's License.
- Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team.
- Anticipates challenges and develops and implements strategies for addressing them.
- High level of service delivery.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations.
- Attention to detail.
