Nurse Care Specialist

At The Waters of Indianapolis, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents. Your duties will include making rounds to observe and evaluate the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents, preparing and administering medications as required, and consulting with physicians to ensure the best possible care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients as assigned, including making rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional, and social needs
- Prepare and administer medications as required, and consult with physicians to ensure the best possible care for our residents
- Communicate effectively with the director of nursing and staff to ensure seamless care delivery
- Participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities
- Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients, and maintain accurate records of patient care
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in nursing in a long term care environment
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed in the state they are working in
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
