We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging technology.

About the Role

This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work with state-of-the-art CT equipment and collaborate with a talented team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will be essential in performing CT examinations, utilizing sophisticated imaging techniques, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT examinations according to physician orders, utilizing advanced imaging technology and techniques.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and patient positioning.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in medical imaging.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire or National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography or National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board within 1 year of hire.
