Job Title: Registered Nurse Third Shift-ED

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at South Shore Health. As a Registered Nurse on our Third Shift, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our Emergency Department.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse Third Shift-ED will be responsible for providing individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department. This includes assessing and diagnosing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in Massachusetts
  • Minimum one year of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in the Emergency Department
  • ACLS certification or willingness to obtain
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
