As a Senior Laboratory Specialist, you will work under the supervision of the Lab Manager, ensuring all samples are received, extracted, analyzed, and reported in compliance with company policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Picking up, receiving, and analyzing samples
  • Preparing solutions and tracking them
  • Maintaining equipment logs and performing maintenance tasks
  • Extracting samples for analysis using LC/MS, GC/MS, and ICP/MS
  • Entering data into the lab's system
  • Understanding and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Producing high-quality, error-free work
  • Ensuring errors are resolved before results are released to clients
  • Continuously seeking ways to improve processes and best practices

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or at least 2 years of college coursework and 1 year of experience in a high-complexity laboratory, food testing lab, or environmental testing lab
