Chief Privacy and Information Security Attorney

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Privacy and Information Security Attorney to join our team at State Farm Careers. As a Fortune 50 company, we pride ourselves on embracing diversity and inclusion to create a workplace that is engaging, diverse, and fosters a Good Neighbor culture.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in privacy and information security laws and regulations, with a minimum of 5 years of experience. They will be responsible for advising on enterprise programs related to privacy, information security, risk, and compliance. The successful candidate will also have excellent academic credentials and an active license to practice law in at least one state.
This is a hybrid role located in Bloomington, IL, requiring significant time spent in the office and virtually. Our mission is to help people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams.
Responsibilities- Provide legal advice on federal and state privacy and information security requirements, enterprise risk management, and the compliance and ethics program.
- Collaborate closely with peers in other legal practice groups and business leaders throughout the enterprise.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer competitive benefits, including tuition reimbursement, professional designations, employee development, wellness initiatives, and more.
