About the Role

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Greeley, Colorado.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to provide top-notch ultrasound procedures to our patients. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing patient history and physician's orders to ensure accurate and efficient scheduling
  • Preparing and administering contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice
  • Monitoring patient condition continually and reporting/responding to changes in status as appropriate
  • Selecting appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters
  • Implementing safety standards and performing quality control procedures on equipment
  • Positioning patients and performing imaging procedures
  • Analyzing results and identifying issues with the quality of imaging results
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
  • Registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • State licensure if required by law
  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
