Responsibilities

As a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists to assist in the assessment, treatment, and documentation of clients with communication disorders.

  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with licensed speech-language pathologists to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Screenings and Assessments: Assist in conducting screenings and assessments to identify communication disorders in clients.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to clients under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
  • Documentation: Document client progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to support holistic care.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy.
  • An Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or a related field.
  • SLPA certification or eligibility for certification in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
