Housekeeper Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Marriott Vacations Worldwide. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring our Owners/guests have an exceptional experience during their stay with us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain villas to the highest standards, including kitchens, bathrooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms.
  • Complete assigned rooms and tasks within the scheduled shift, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Restock guest amenities, such as linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchen items, according to company standards.
  • Report room status to the Main Linen Room, Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor, or Front Desk.
  • Operate housekeeping carts/caddies, transporting supplies and chemicals to rooms and returning them to designated areas at the end of the shift.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance problems, safety hazards, or accidents.

Guest Experience and Company Standards:

  • Welcome and greet guests, anticipating and addressing their needs.
  • Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
  • Contribute to team goals and maintain a positive, supportive work environment.
  • Always follow company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Available to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25lbs without assistance.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Background and drug screening may be required contingent on company policy and applicable legal requirements.
