RV Repair Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled RV Repair Technician to join our team at Blue Compass RV. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance work on recreational vehicles to ensure they are safe and reliable for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, automotive, carpentry, HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing issues on RVs
  • Document all repairs and maintenance work in a detailed and accurate manner
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality work standards
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer specifications and dealership standards for repairs and maintenance
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of experience in a trade field such as automotive, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or maintenance
  • Certification from a college or technical school in a trade field or equivalent work experience
  • RVTI certification preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of shop tools and equipment, as well as prior RV technician experience
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices
  • Commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction and providing a world-class service experience
