Tax Professional I

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Professional to join our team. As a Tax Professional, you will be responsible for conducting tax interviews with clients, preparing complete and accurate tax returns, and generating business growth.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns, including individual, trust, and partnership returns.
• Generate business growth by offering additional products and services to clients.
• Provide clients with IRS support and representation.
• Mentor and support teammates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
• Experience completing individual returns.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort working with virtual tools and ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone, and in writing.
• Ability to complete 10 hour continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher.
