Job Summary:

As a Radiologic Technologist - Mammography and Breast Sonography Specialist at UW Health in Northern Illinois, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mammographic imaging and patient care services to patients. You will position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately, utilizing ALARA principles during examinations. You will also implement radiation protection and safety standards, and provide Breast Sonography imaging. Additionally, you will prepare for and assist the physician in procedures, including breast biopsies, localizations, and breast aspirations.

Requirements:

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
Certification by ARRT in Radiography (RT), Mammography (M), and Breast Sonography (BS)
Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency)
CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

3 years of mammography experience and 1 year of breast sonography experience
