Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing and prioritizing patient needs, and developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including ordering and administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and interpreting results.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient care.
- Supervise and direct the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License or active Compact Registered Nurse License with New Jersey endorsement.
- BLS through American Heart Association upon hire.
- ACLS Certification within 6 months of start date.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills, with experience in electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
- Med./Surg. Telemetry and/or ER nursing experience.
- ER certifications and/or national nursing certifications.
