We are seeking a highly skilled Collision Repair Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in collision repair, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

The estimated salary for this position is $31-$33 per hour, based on industry standards and location.

Job Description:

  • Complete disassembly of vehicles to assist in assessing damage and preparing a 100% Repair Plan.
  • Ensure all needed repairs are identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
  • Mend damaged body parts, including hammering out or filling in dents and welding broken parts, ensuring all gaps and fits are to industry standards.
  • Operate various hand and power tools, such as welders, soldering equipment, cutting torches, and sanders.
  • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before turning the vehicle over to the Paint Department.
  • Repair or replace defective parts and ensure all needed repairs are identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
  • Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to check for compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, including complying with all Classic Collision standard operating procedures, safety rules, and guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' collision repair experience preferred.
  • I-CAR / ASE certifications are preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License Required.
  • Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.

Physical & Environmental Demands:

The employee is regularly required to use hands and is required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and walk occasionally for long periods at a time. The employee may occasionally be required to reach with hands, arms, and move objects up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
