STV is seeking a highly skilled Highway Engineer to join our Transportation and Infrastructure Division in one of our offices in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Douglassville, Harrisburg, PA, Newark or Lawrenceville, NJ.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and review all phases of highway plan development for various transportation projects.
- Collaborate with transportation agencies throughout PA and/or NJ.
- Develop and implement highway design solutions, including geometric design, traffic control, signing, and pavement marking.
- Coordinate with utility companies and manage right-of-way plans.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers in highway design tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Successful completion of the PE exam.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in highway design.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to determine scope of work and prepare estimates for highway engineering tasks.
- Quality control oversight for highway engineering tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, OpenRoads, MicroStation, InRoads, and AutoTAB.
- Competitive salary range: $78,000 - $104,007.
