Responsibilities:

  • Receive and document food merchandise for delivery or return, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Manage inventory levels of all products entering and exiting the warehouse, guaranteeing a smooth flow of goods.
  • Identify any missing, lost, or damaged goods promptly and notify the supervisor to initiate appropriate action.
  • Safely and securely pack, seal, and label cakes, pies, and cheesecakes for shipping or delivery, adhering to quality standards.
  • Handle all food merchandise with care to preserve product quality throughout the handling process.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn new tasks and responsibilities, contributing to a flexible and adaptable work environment.
  • Maximize efficiency by minimizing downtime and utilizing time effectively for packing, preparing for incoming products, or cleaning the production line. Report any downtime caused by mechanical issues or missing packaging materials to the lead or supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area by regularly cleaning all packing equipment and adhering to strict hygiene standards. At the end of each shift, ensure proper waste disposal and removal of any debris.
  • Obtain a Florida food handling certificate or complete the required course within 30 days of your start date.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, demonstrating professionalism and commitment to workplace guidelines.
