Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our Cardiovascular Services team at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies Main Hosp. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the surgical operating suite with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies.
  • Ensure the good working order of equipment and instruments, and assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
  • Pass instruments to physicians during surgery, and continually account for the number and location of instruments and supplies.
  • Receive and process specimens for delivery to the laboratory.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent, or military training.
  • State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration.
  • 6 months of Surgical Tech experience or graduation from an accredited Surgical Tech program.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
