Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide in-home support for seniors and individuals with special needs in Kalamazoo, MI. As a caregiver with CAREWATCH OF MICHIGAN HOME CARE, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene to ensure our clients maintain their independence and dignity.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and meaningful interaction to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare healthy meals based on client needs to promote nutrition and well-being.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform tasks such as laundry and cleaning to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Medication Reminders: Ensure clients follow their prescribed routines to maintain their health and safety.
  • Mobility Assistance: Aid with walking and transfers to ensure safety and prevent falls.
  • Errands & Transportation: Drive clients to appointments and run errands to promote independence and convenience.
  • Health Monitoring: Report any changes in condition to supervisors to ensure timely interventions.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Prior caregiving or home health experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Requirements: Must pass a background check and have a valid driver's license to ensure client safety.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of assisting with physical tasks like mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
